Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This policy explains what information 1repmaxcalculator.org (“we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

In short

The calculators work without an account. Your saved results stay in your own browser. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send through the contact form.

What we collect

Contact form. If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. We use this only to reply to you and to fix any problem you report.

Basic server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting server may briefly record technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This helps keep the site secure and working.

We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as health records. Please do not send it through the contact form.

Your progress stays on your device

The progress tracker, your last inputs and your settings (such as kg or lb, light or dark mode, and your bodyweight in the strength tools) are saved in your browser using localStorage. This data stays on your device. It is never sent to our server, and we cannot see it.

You can delete it at any time with the delete buttons in the progress tracker, or by clearing your browser’s site data for 1repmaxcalculator.org.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. The calculators themselves do not need cookies to work. Our site software may set a small number of technical cookies, for example to remember that you are logged in if you are an administrator.

Google Analytics and Google AdSense

We may use Google Analytics to understand how many people use the site and which pages are useful, and we may use Google AdSense to show ads. These services use cookies and similar technologies, and Google may use them to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

How to opt out of personalized ads

  • Visit Google Ad Settings to turn off personalized ads.
  • Visit aboutads.info to opt out of personalized ads from many companies.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The calculators will keep working.

How long we keep data

We keep contact form messages only as long as we need them to answer you and deal with any follow-up, and then delete them, normally within 12 months. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our hosting provider.

Children’s privacy

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it
  • ask us to correct or delete it
  • object to or limit how we use it
  • withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent
  • complain to your local data protection authority

California residents also have the right to know what personal information is collected, to ask for its deletion and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

To use any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add features or services. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
